The Beast of Batsto

Batsto is a southern New Jersey company town in the middle of the pine barrens known for its glass production. Henry Thomas is the community’s blacksmith. After he has a frightening encounter with a large winged creature behind his shop, Henry is further shaken when several of his fellow townsfolk are found dead in the woods surrounding the village. As he tries to make sense of what is happening, the blacksmith meets a mysterious stranger who hints that Henry himself may have a much larger role to play in the chaos gripping Batsto. The only thing Henry knows for certain is that the legend of the Leeds Devil is indeed true, and he is slowly becoming a part of it.
