Qigong Assassin vol. One. FBI Agents investigating a string of child-murders in NYC stumble upon a clandestine organization with far-reaching consequences. Sp. Agent Carl Peirce is working in conjunction with the NYPD. When Carl’s boss David Webber threatens Peirce, Carl spies on an old acquaintance of David's from Webber's younger days, Sifu Theodore Jakes, a Qigong (Chi-Kung) teacher in Coney Island; a one-time freelance agent for both the FBI and CIA. Webber believes Jakes is behind the murders. Peirce soon discovers he cannot be, and that David has designs of his own which have nothing to do with the murders. Peirce begins learning Qigong, first at behest of David, later for his own reasons. When Carl is attacked at home Sue (Carl’s fiancé) turns to Sifu for help. Sifu, Carl and Suzan join forces against the forces behind Webber’s paranoia. All come away changed if they come away at all!
