Sword & Backpack: Reforged

Sword & Back Reforged is an honored homage and strongly derived from Sword & Backpack written by Gabe Soria of Rothbard and Gazpus. The original Sword & Backpack was published in 2013. __________________ “In the world of Sword & Backpack Reforged, you are a young explorer just beginning a life of high adventure in a fantastic and dangerous land. You live in a vast kingdom filled with supernatural wonder: bustling cities and sleepy villages, gloomy dungeons and haunted ruins, ancient forests and forgotten roads. You are eager to see all of it. But every great adventurer starts somewhere, and at the beginning of your journey you possess little more than determination and curiosity. You set out carrying only the tools of your trade — a sword, a spellbook, or a set of lockpicks — along with a sturdy backpack and a band of like-minded companions ready to chase fortune, mystery, and glory together.” Included in the Reforged Edition: - 11 Pieces of art by the talented Inked Gas - 3 Ready to go Adventurers - Suggested target numbers for when the Adventurer's Origin comes into play, when their Job is brought to bear, and for everything else that falls outside of the Adventures skill set - An all or nothing combat procedure - Method for tracking hits - Sample Spells - A character sheet by the great Mr. Gone - 17 dot matrix pages to catalog and map your adventures! Sword & Backpack Reforged is the culmination of 10+ years running Sword & Backpack. The goal of the Reforged edition is to create something that is accessible/understandable to everyone regardless of experience and keeps true to the source material. Sword & Backpack: Reforged is also designed in a way where it can be printed out as a booklet and passed around to bring people into the hobby, run games in public spaces, and to run private games. Grab your sword, pick up your backpack, and go on an adventure!
