In the span of eight weeks, the United States went from recording its first case of Coronavirus transmission in California to reporting over 184,000 cases (and growing) nationwide and dealing with a new global epicenter for the virus: New York. We the people of the US are upset, confused, stressed, angered and worried. Is this the end of life as we know it? Is the US spiraling out of control? Do governors have the capacity and skill set to lead their state? Is a cure or vaccine on the horizon? What does the future hold? I would dare say that the world is emphatically wondering, “What will happen next”? We live in a topsy turvy world. A world where experts are often less educated in the dynamics of the situation than those they lecture. Where it’s not what you know, but who you know. Where ignorance is bliss and lying is acceptable behavior. Often it’s the not knowing that makes reasonable and sane people do unreasonable and insane things. We will get through this crisis—somehow, someway. So to make a long story short, this book captures events surrounding the COVID-19 virus in such a way that anyone can follow along and be educated.
