See Color See.Me Project is our contribution to help end racism in the fashion industry. After 35+ years in the fashion industry, we were disappointed to hear racism still exists because on the outside, fashion shows are integrated and clothing is made for everyone. However, if you peel back the label, apparel houses are still big businesses run by a non-integrated corporate entity and we only see the finished product. So using our years of experience, we are making the attempt to curtail racism by inserting a solution at the very beginning when a collection is created. In fashion, everything begins with the design concept and teams exist to bring the concept to life. As an award-winning apparel developer and leader of such a team, and as members of these teams, we have great pride in our work and our ability to execute to the design brief. It is this pride which I am tapping into to help solve racism by providing a tool for fashion designers to more easily design for the people we clothe as well as design clothes. Our tool is a sketchbook (coil bound spiral or E-version) with ethnic-inspired, size inclusive croquis or body templates, designed in bullet, dot grid journal format to capture and support the designer's creativity in an organized manner. Our sketchbooks include a quarterly planner, market shopping templates to capture notes on the competition, inspiration pages for concepting, 60 front and back sets of ethnic-inspired, size inclusive croquis, design details pages, meeting notes pages, The Mahalo Pages aka gratitude section, author's credits, and spiral bound for flexibility to add swatches, photos, and small trim samples. This issue is wrapped in the fauna of the African Sahara and Serengeti. 100% of the proceeds from this sketchbook is donated to African Wildlife Foundation to holistically protect the animals, the land, and the people of Africa for generations to come. To use our Ebook version, please convert the .epub file to a PDF and use with your favorite PDF editor such as Procreate. We hope our customers use our bullet sketchbooks and Ebooks to create diverse, inclusive collections for us to build, deliver, and change the world. Visit us at www.seecolorsee.me. Mahalo!
