The Girl In Disguise

Who I am and who I want to be. The novel focuses on race, love and past experience. The novel will show how I see myself through my own lens vs. how others view me through their lens. The novel indicates who I am and what others make me out to be. Race will play a major role in the book, because growing up in a strict household where school was the number one priority; I was surrounded by peers that were the same color as me so therefore I could relate to them more. Traveling from city to city, I started to see life in a different manner and started to see people that were not the same color as me. Moving from suburb to suburb, I started to see other people that did not look the same as me, but may have had the same interests as I did.
