Kansas, New Mexico and California by RV

This book recounts our 2016 travels from Wisconsin west through Kansas to New Mexico and California and our return through Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota and Minnesota. The book tells of the sights we saw, the campgrounds we found, and the surprises, both positive and negative. It provides a map that shows where we went and includes numerous full color photographs of our journey. The desert southwest can be hot and uncomfortable so we traveled south in the spring and moved north as summer approached. Some of the amazing sights we saw included Carlsbad Caverns, the Very Large Array (a radio telescope twenty-odd miles wide), Canyon de Chelly National Park, Yosemite, Mount Rushmore and dozens of less famous places. Our visits to these sites are recounted in the book together with a detailed listing of more than fifty other attractions we visited and the forty-one campsites where we stayed. The book includes ninety-four full color photos and a map that shows our route.
