Ethnic Identity Among the Nineteenth-Century Descendants of Hudson's Bay Company Fur Traders

This is a historical anthropological study of ethnic identity development among the mixed-blood children of Hudson's Bay Company fur traders. Genealogical case studies of two families, the Gladmans and the Vincents, are used to illustrate the argument.
