The Spirit King

In another dimension lies a world much like our own, but with major differences. Kyuujigen is ruled by the Ikai no Oja, or the spirit king, who looks over the continents of Then, Now and What Will Be. The Oja controls the flow of souls throughout Kyuujigen, where even inanimate objects have life. There are the mikage, the people [or things] that live with a soul that does not match their body. And then there are the yousei-- The souls attached to element, who are even stronger than the Spirit King and look down upon the muusei, or the animate inanimate objects that often work for humans. Trouble comes when Oja dissapears and life begins to fade as Toki, Death and company threaten to take over Kyuujigen and spread mass chaos. Ikai no Oja was written in November as part as NaNoWriMo, a challenge to write 50,000 words in 30 days.
