fore the beginning of time when Gods were all that existed, chaos controlled everything. The Gods were jealous of each other, warring endlessly, with no chance of an outcome, for all were immortal. Realizing that their turmoil and competitive nature would continue throughout the ages, they decided to create a contest to decide, which God would become supreme.
After eons of debating the rules and stipulations of the contest, the Gods had finally come to an agreement. Each God was given his own world to design, granting life and physics of his choosing to their worlds. Each God wrote the birth and end of their own world’s inhabitants, agreeing to die with their world as it perished. Returning to whatever primordial substance created them. Eons passed, worlds died and the number of Gods remaining diminished until only two remained.
This is where we begin our story.
