Shakespeare For The Student: the 1690 Sonnets as they originally were, from one love to another, and the Notes as Concrete Poems, and below each one, the Homage’s being paid to him by American Poetess, Jean Elizabeth Ward. Index of Shakespeare’s words at the back of the book to complete this book, which is wonderful for a beginner who wants to study Shakespeare, but in the past has found it too difficult and demanding. The son of John Shakespeare and Mary Arden, he was probably educated at the King Edward IV Grammar School in Stratford, where he learned Latin and a little Greek and read the Roman dramatists. At eighteen, he married Anne Hathaway, a woman seven or eight years his senior. Together they raised two daughters: Susanna, who was born in 1583, and Judith (whose twin brother died in boyhood), born in 1585.
