Poetry in Brief - a blissful silence -

Jean-Jacques Fournier, originally from Montreal, Canada, started writing poetry in California in the eighties. In the process of reinventing himself numerous times, his penchant for the language of poetry seemed best suited to express life's experiences. He pursued his writing in the south of France, where he met his wife Marianne. He currently lives in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, where he started a blog "Poetry on a Canapé". He has published eighteen books of poetry to date. Most of his poems have been recorded by the author and their recital can be heard on his blog.
