About Jeffrey V. Perry

JEFFREY V. PERRY- has Master's Degree in Business Management (from CTU), and received a BA in Economics, from Dartmouth College. Born June 11, 1955 in New Bern, North Carolina, he has written poetry since he was about seven years old, while growing up in North Carolina. His favorite poet was Paul Lawrence Dunbar. His family moved to Brooklyn, New York when Jeffrey was eleven years old. In junior high school, he helped organize several poetry magazines, and performed this same feat, while attending undergraduate school. When he was in high school, he took courses in Creative Writing, but was not convinced that this would be something in which he would be successful. Jeffrey successfully passed all the traditional subjects - areas in which he had always excelled. In 2007, he self-published his first book of poetry and continues to write and self-publish.
