Marilyn is the dark take of Marilyn McDouglas, as told by her daughter, Annistasia. She keeps many secrets, most are never revealed to the other characters, only to the reader. One of the most shocking is that Marilyn has the ability to reincarnate herself. As her new host is being born, her old body dies. So, she chooses her new mother carefully. Tales of her former lives and the sinister plan for her next life, slowly come into focus in this unique work of occult horror.
My objective with this book is to create a character whose personality is the natural result of the extra ordinary circumstances of their existence. Their lack of regard for mortal life, a product of seeing so many born and die. The realization of what elements of life are truly significant. Their fear of real death.
Most of my readers dislike Marilyn, seeing no redeeming characteristics. Is it her cold blooded lack of compassion and remorse? Or, is it because, in this life, she does it as a woman.
