The Library or Bibliotheca of St Photius the Great

The Library of Photius has been utilized by theologians and scholars throughout the generations due to breadth of knowledge and learning that St. Photius possessed. In essence, this is a collection of 165 book reviews by an ancient scholar covering theology, geography, fiction, history, and other topics. Unfortunately, St. Photius’ Bibliotheca, or Library, was never fully translated into English. This is the first, and only, of four volumes of the Greek work translated into English in the early 20th century. The present volume was remastered from a public domain source.
