Meditation has been part of my life for years, and I am continually looking for different ways to calm my busy mind. One day I made a list of negative traits I wanted to eliminate from my life. But I realized I needed positive qualities that could help counteract the negative ones. Ultimately I found 72 combinations. Then I decided to create this book. Here are four examples: Breathe In Let Go Generosity Expectation Achievement Disappointment Calm Anxiety Could Should Soon I started applying these Mini-Meditations to my daily life. I practiced them while driving, running late, trying to sleep, feeling bored, grumpy, etc. And they began to work. Here's how: I'm at the airport and feeling anxious. 1. I stop what I'm doing. 2. I breathe in calm to a count of four. 3. I let go of anxiety to a count of four. After repeating this practice a few times, I forgot what made me anxious. It's incredible how quickly eight seconds of breathing can steady an overactive brain. I hope the book proves beneficial to you. It's been insightful to write and valuable to implement.
