The Year of the Armadillo: Book One - January

Beulah Clinton, a sassy-talking, Harvard graduate, future President of the U.S., barely escapes a coup attempt headed by her Vice President, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and the Director of Homeland Security. She is aided in her flight, by her bodyguard, Noel Hackberry, and pilot, Lt. Col. Jake Steelman. They flee to So.Texas where they meet Mac, a hitman for Homeland Security, and his motley crew. In the meantime, independent reporter Mimi de Loria survives a plane crash and joins the group. All government agencies join in the hunt to find the President and permanently silence the reporter.
