Ruby began her life in a wheelchair and she was destined to remain there for the rest of her life, but things began to happen to her, exciting things as well as surprising things and she was to both enjoy them as well as be surprised by them. She was to share her life with a certain someone, not the one she expected, but one who would challenge her and cause her to do things she would never do on her own.
