Project: Brainstorm was going to change the world of international espionage. Advances in technology have given rise to the Cybro-implant, an artificial intelligence designed and programmed by the CIA to be the ultimate field agent, implanted in the unlikeliest of hosts: ordinary teenagers. At least that was the plan until the program was terminated and dismantled. Jesse Handler and his AI partner, Black Panther, the prototype for this project, have been coming to terms with the shutdown and trying to live as ordinary a life as they can. But Jesse has been kept in the dark about the real status of Project: Brainstorm, which is up and running and larger than ever - and controlled by a lethal shadow organization whose motives are as mysterious as they are.
