Resilience

On a dark and stormy Halloween night, a very brave and resilient young woman was born. However, to her, the storms were silent. Jillian Haught was born deaf. Now, 15 years later, Jillian Haught is venturing into the unknown, armed with listening and speaking skills she learned at DePaul School. Jillian’s story is not a scary one as her birthday may imply; it is, in fact, one of hope and resilience that inspires all who hear it!
