nikoláos and the ride of the noble eight caribou (Canada)

One boy who can't get along with his siblings. Eight caribou who can't fly. one night to trek into all eight directions because of one arrow that fell from the sky. Nikoláos is a boy living in a northern land of woods and lakes, whose habit of shooting arrows into all directions comes to dominate the sky of his experiences the way the purple, ringed-planet around which his earthworld revolves dominates the sky of his town. Complicated by family disagreements and sibling stress, his arrow shooting leads him to an old caribou and an adventure into the wisdom, the danger, the kindness and the perseverance of the eight directions.
