Unquarantined - Nature Persisted as the World Stood Still
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
2020 was a year unlike any other. As the world stood still under lockdown and quarantine amid the COVID-19 pandemic, nature continued in her ways and offered solace during a time of uncertainty. In the ultimate “staycation”, these photographs were made in Grand Rapids, Michigan area parks beginning March 23 when the stay-at-home order was announced; documenting seasonal and other noteworthy subjects through the end of December.
The year 2020 will be remembered for many things, but most of all it may be looked back upon as the year that when nearly everything else in the world stood still, we rediscovered nature among us–herself unquarantined.
