
Text highlighting the abstract works of Boston artist, Michael Malott by Jin Li Yang . Malott rented a beach studio in Boston in early 2008 and within six months had created over fifty sensational works of art, becoming an overnight sensation in the Boston modern art community.
Malott's style combines abstract and street art influences and his works command top dollar and receive critical acclaim from critics and collector's alike. Malott's works are currently featured in some of the countries leading art galleries.
Author Jin Li Yang worked closely with Malott to document much of the work during that time period in this book. Malott has shows scheduled in 2009 and his work is making its way mainstream into galleries all over the world.
In November 2008, Malott relocated to Greenwich Village, NY with his wife and son. He recently debuted 21 new works at Metropol Galleries.
