The book provides a brief history of the North America Project (NAP). It gives some analysis of what was believed, achieved and learned in the ten years of NAP's existence, and a few of the shortcomings. This book is a compilation of NAP articles, reports, interviews and bibliography that have appeared in the Peace Brigades International (PBI) bulletins since the birth of NAP in the 1990s. This book is a modes attempt to remember what NAP has contributed to PBI and the special place NAP took in the organsation.
PBI is an international NGO that has been promoting nonviolence and protecting human rights since 1981.
The work is based on the principlesof nonpartisanshipand non-interference in the internal affairs of the organisations we accompany.
