God's Helping Hands - A New Beginning

Challenged to make a difference in the wider community outside their resort-style neighborhood, a church group plans to do home repairs. They pray for God to lead them but they are shocked at the level of poverty out there. The home of the first family is in such bad shape, it cannot be repaired; but by the time this fact is confirmed, the group cares about the family too much to let them down. In over their heads, they raise funds and follow where the Lord leads. They refurbish a used manufactured home. As they work, their needs are provided again and again, beyond the probability of mere “lucky coincidence.” They call these times “God moments.” When they finish the first home with more money than when they started, they go on to help another family, then another and so on. These are the stories of the first 11 families, living in substandard conditions, often with no electricity or hot water, fearful that their children would be taken away--until a better home changes everything.
