Front Porch Poetry

I never made friends like other kids did, though I’ve made friends very easily. School and academics never came easily to me, I know many teachers that were frustrated or curious about me, because I have always had an unorthodox-insatiable hunger for growth and learning. I’ve always been enchanted by the spirit world: practices, spirituality, faith, dogmas, and devotionals. I’ve enjoyed experiences of a power for good and for evil in my life. I have always felt a strong need to share some form of expression of these experiences and perspectives with others. I also have always been captivated by how other people make their way in this world. I have also reflected on how these practices intertwine with my own perspective and approach to life.
