Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Did you know you can become completely different characters if you embrace being a product of the environment that you're placed in?
'The space around you doesn't only affect your mood and well-being, but also people do that can turn us into a character we never expected
The L’Herisse VOX Acting Technique is an approach to acting developed by American film/theatre practitioner Joel Brown. The goal of the VOX approach is for the actor to not focus on drowning out facing the music and instead concentrate on the sounds in the environment to become the character it's trying to shape you into.
The following acting approach was birth from the development of my mental illness, that's how I know it works!
This course examines the acting process and technique of living in a hallucination and delusional state of mind based off atmospheric sounds and music. That examination includes the basics of drawing from your environment to create a character through using creative imagination to get into character with music that includes: the fundamentals of unconscious awareness, the psychology of music: rhythm and movement, and creating kairos moments out of various ambiences, character study/analysis, character movement, voice/diction, dialogue, characterization, and imparting positive psychology of character strengths/virtues to not just develop a character but help teach your audience also. This course experiences the process of developing a character with a song and ambiance from concept to stage to workshop/showcase/perform.
The purpose of this new acting technique is to provide the basic techniques and approaches to VOX aka atmospheric mellifluous acting. Covers the fundamentals of unconscious awareness, the psychology of music: rhythm and movement, and creating kairos moments out of various ambiances. VOX Atmospheric Mellifluous Acting is intended to be another acting technique for actors. The technique allows the actor to experiment with the sounds of their environment, the urge to move to music, and improvisation to the various ambiences. The idea for a course will be remote and verbaly oriented with the emphasis on doing, with it in mind for the students to prepare acting scenes which will be directed and performed at home and on-location for an audience of one.
So get ready to turn up the volume, close your eyes, let the music take over your soul, and face the music in the scene that disturbs you with this new acting technique!
