Then Became Now

This is a story, “A MEASURE” if you will, of the life of Joel Christopher from being raised on two Textile Mill Villages, going through Grade Schools, High School, College, his Career in Textiles and then into Retirement. This book was written about his life on the mill villages of Dunean and Judson. The many interesting events that happened to him and to his brothers and sister are portrayed - their carefree lives, not only at play, but at school and at church. Joel describes working in a textile mill at night while going to college during the day, later serving in the army reserve. He followed his life long ambition of working in the textile mills for 47 years. This is his Textile Heritage.
