Two stories written for National Novel Writing Month by Joel Thomas Kelly.
First, in Tartarus: The Land Between The Waters, a young man dies on one world only to discover new life on another - a world of strange wonders, terrifying monsters, fallen civilizations and religious fanatics. Beneath the surface of an impossible planet on the far edge of the universe, he finds clues to an ancient mystery and battles those who would enslave his newfound friends.
Then, in Xibalba: New Moon on Monday, ancient prophecies converge when an asteroid is discovered hurtling toward Earth from the outer reaches of the solar system. One FBI agent investigates a bizarre family with mysterious powers and a unique history that may have the key to saving the world - if he can get them to agree to help. As the clock ticks away, he begins to discover the real danger to Earth may be far greater than anyone suspects.
