Many have called him a Renaissance man, ageless in time, the quintessential artist and author. To these Dr, Jol states "au contraire." He humbly dismisses the monikers, calling his many talents a blessing from the Divine and an accident of birth. "I've been fortunate in life. I thank my Maker for allowing me to create within all types of mixed-media, art to writing, and in many other artistic realms. But I firmly believe and experience daily the words of Einstein, 'Talent/success are 5% inspiration and 95% perspiration!'" Finally, you'll note that Jol uses no surname.
"My philosophy speaks to the importance and significance of the creation and not the person behind the work." One can observe that Jol wishes his audience to judge him by what he does, not who he is! Only through that window will you, the literature and art aficionado, determine the thumbprint legacy he leaves upon the world.
