This book is intended mainly for young people, because the world they are on the verge of inheriting is in a very serious mess. So the School of Kindness Project is an attempt to educate people, and especially young people, about how their world really works. Although there are quite a few adults who already know this, the greater majority most certainly do not. This is a vitally important project because our fragile planet is in big trouble, and is currently enduring the sixth mass extinction of species, at the most rapid rate since dinosaurs disappeared. This catastrophe must be stopped. This book challenges almost every orthodoxy of our society, from the concept of leadership to the obscene and totally unnecessary destruction of our environment, from religion to economics, from so-called "democracy" to justice, from history to the media - and examines what needs to be reformed, and how we could do so.
