RAdm Buckton leads and expedition of 3 Alliance DSCs into the Perseton Empire to meet with their always very dangerous enemy. Once contact with the Persetons is made JT and Harry Wonted are to sit and negotiate a viable peace treaty. Once that is done they are then to make every effort possible to get the Persetons to unite with the Alliance of Planets. During the mission JT receives a message advising him of Ed Gilbert and Yllisium "Ears" Organta's promotions to Captain and Exec (XO) respectively and to immediately turn over command of Pegasus to them. Ed and Ears' promotions give both officers many new challenges and responsibilities. Regardless the outcome on Persetonia, JT has been ordered to return to Earth on board DTS-4 Harmony where he will be at Fleet Headquarters, while Kate is to remain the CMO on board Pegasus, which then heads back to the ZQ to finish the mission the ship started 3 years earlier.
