The Gerrard Street Mystery and Other Weird Tales

This book has 4 stories which take place in different locations in Canada. Two of them involve the supernatural- life after death and a haunted house. Another is about a man's mysterious disappearance, and the fourth is about a man whose son dies. The stories themselves are delightfully anchored in the physical geography of Upper Canada (or in the case of ‘Gagtooth’s Image’, Illinois), and have a mystical and spooky air about them.
