John Grange was a house name. The first three novels were written by Victor Rousseau. From number 16 to the end, they were written by Robert Leslie Bellem (Dan Turner, Hollywood Detective) and W. T. Ballard. The authorship on novels 4 through 15 has not been ascertained.
