The Church from Judgement to Restoration

So dire is the present spiritual state of the Church that her very existence as the true body of Christ is threatened. To precipitate restoration, God is undertaking a judgmental work, in which His restraining hand on the power of Antichrist is being removed, allowing the contamination of the Church with its gross apostasy, counterfeit false doctrines, idolatrous rites and practices to be exposed. God is undertaking this work so that Antichrist and deceptions may be exposed and destroyed by the light of truth. Those in the Church may be brought to genuine repentance. God can pour out the latter rain of the Spirit to bring about revival and restoration. Restoration precipitates a huge harvest of souls. “…He might present her to Himself a glorious church...holy and without blemish.”Eph 5:27
