Star Fantasy - Precursors

The barbarian Karoliners have invaded the Galactic Federation, fighting the Federal Army to a bloody stalemate. But a whole fleet of Karoliner vessels have been dispatched to take the frigid world of Fawr, destroying the archaeological dig there led by Doctor Mallory Shepherd. Shepherd has led a Federal fleet to retake the world and rescue the surviving archaeologists and mercenary guards, but the question remains: what drew the Karoliners to the Fawr ruins in the first place? What was it that Shepherd and her people found? The puzzle will lead them across space and time to a fatal confrontation with the greatest of Karoliners.
