The Second Life : Making Lemonade

The Second Life charts the success of two young adults taking charge of their common future for the first time, amidst the dangerous demands of war. From there, it traces the young family’s challenges, and the adventures, hidden dangers, wonderful friends, and extensive travels of a military career. With first-person accounts of the USAF's Secret War in SE Asia (well beyond Vietnam); forays into the Middle East; and being directly targeted by terrorist car bombs – the Second Life tells the story of a quickly-growing young family's decade-long life abroad, in tiny country villages and the world-class capitals of Europe. It also chronicles the previously-hidden development and use of some amazing high-tech military devices and methods – decades before most of the public even learned of their existence.
