
A detailed history and study of the surviving structure of Carew Manor, Beddington Surrey which was a country house from the late middle ages into the 19th century. The building contains a major grade I listed early Tudor hall roof. This volume covers the history of the Beddington Carews and the details of the house. The second volume deal with the archaeology of the former moat.
