WWII Children's Stories, 6: SALLY and JANET in CAMP

ByJohn R. Graham

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The girls have a really rough day with the many tasks of life in an army camp, especially since they don't do them all perfectly! * * * * * Dr. Graham was sent overseas during WWII as part of the Massachusetts General Hospital Army Base No. 6, at age thirty-three. He departed from home in May, 1942, when Janet was three years old and Sally would be turning two. During the years until he returned in March of 1945 he wrote the Chronicle Letters to the adults back home, but also wrote and illustrated a series of short books for the children. In these stories he pretends that the two little girls are joining him in various activities.
