John W. Iwanski lives somewhere in his own mind, miles away from common sense and good judgment. It is from this far-away land that these dispatches have been sent. Some streams of consciousness are deep and flowing, with wisdom and sophistication. This is not that type of stream. This is more like that stream behind the sewage treatment plant that you fell in as a kid, when your mom got mad at you, and you couldn’t get the smell out of your hair for weeks. While you read this book, you are sure to laugh. You are likely to cringe. You are almost certain to call the authorities and recommend that the author be picked up and placed gently in a room with very soft walls. In the end, when you’re done with the book, and have said goodbye to your self-respect, you’ll smile with the hilarious satisfaction that comes only from lowering your own IQ. At that point, you’ll probably want to recommend the book to your friends and coworkers, just so they won’t have the upper hand on you.
