Red Line Book for Writing Shorthand of Pinyin

This is a blank note book with pink lines preprinted horizontally from the left side through the right side with a distance about 1/2 inch between two adjacent lines, which provide as guide lines for shorthand writing using Gao’s shorthand symbols applied to Pinyin - The Mandarin Chinese. There are fifty two blank pages in each note book. At four corners of each page, subject, page number, date, and writer’s name can be filled in with four spaces. In the 2nd page, a sample case of shorthand writing was printed, which was followed a Pinyin version of the Chinese translation from Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address by Johnson K. Gao in 2005. The detailed information about such a translated version and the explanation of how to use Gao’s Shorthand system can be found in a book published in 2005, entitled as “Pinyin Shorthand – A bilingual Handbook”, edited by Johnson K. Gao and the English translation by Jack Z. Sun.
