The Eucharist: An Anglican Altar Book, 1662 Contemporary Language Edition

ByJonah Kelman

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The Eucharist is an altar book that follows the Anglican Holy Communion Liturgy, using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer form with optional, devotional additions from the Sarum Rite. The former is the use of the church since the 16th century; the latter the centuries which preceded it. This is a Contemporary English edition, arranged to a 1662 service order, with 1662: International Edition page numbers referenced throughout. Collects and lectionary are included. The Lectionary includes a table of the First Lessons from Morning and Evening Prayer, as well as abbreviated Old Testament and Psalm options, if a third lesson/Psalm is to be added to Holy Communion where Morning or Evening Prayer is not celebrated. A pocket-sized People's Edition, with people's responses in bold, and without the collects/lectionary is also available. For more information, please go to http://anglican.center
