A History of the property now known as Marley House in Devon, England. First built in Tudor times and then partly demolished and rebuilt in the 18th and 19th centuries it was occupied by several different families, the Saverys, the Pynes, the Palks and the Carews. For most of the 20th Century it was occupied by an Order of Nuns, the Bridgettines and renamed by them as Syon Abbey. Now extended and restored as a private estate of 17 dwellings. This book contains nearly 80 illustrations.
