This is the companion lab manual to the Linear Integrated Circuits as Sensor Signal Conditioners text also authored by JR Lambert and available at www.Lulu.com. This manual contains fifteen component level lab experiments to introduce real world operation of 741-series operational amplifiers for sensor scaling applications. The fifteen lab experiments involve introductory through advanced signal scaling examples of inverting and non-inverting amplifiers, biased inverting and non-inverting amplifiers, biased amplifier design with variable gain and offset, classic 3-op amp instrumentation amplifiers and overall design of thermocouple applied operational and instrumentation amplifiers.
