The vast earth was startled by the roar of the beast and woke up in an instant. This is the southernmost part of Sabi Sands West, a savanna reserve area. It was the end of the rainy season, and the vegetation on the grassland had gradually turned yellow. As the sun rose, the wild grass swayed in the wind with golden light like waves of wheat, which was very beautiful. Hundreds of zebras, gazelles and wildebeests slowly head eastward, migrating to welcome the arrival of the dry season. The roaring one was a Thijs lion. It stood on a big rock, looking into the distance with its head tilted to the side. Its lush golden mane fluttered in the wind. It shone brightly in the sun like a god. The lion looked into the distance and roared continuously, declaring his absolute dominance over this territory. Behind it, there were three female lions and six little lions, forming a small lion group. People in the nature reserve named it the Manhaini Lion Group. The three female lions lay on the ground and looked into the distance, while the little lions were running and jumping on the ground, scratching their mother's face with their claws, and then catching up with their little friends and biting their ears with their tender teeth to play.
