The Bastard Prince of Erandom

When King Eoskald of Lochlain is asked by a dying kinsman to reunite the kingdom of Eran and groom his son Skaldir to be his successor, he accepts with pride and patriotism. Years later, Eoskald’s son Eodur has grown into a young man, raised among a heavily taxed and underrepresented Lochlain people, whilst his father sits on an unfamiliar throne and his foster-brother, Skaldir, tears about the landscape with an army of barbaric mercenaries. Sickened by the cruelty and chaos in his homeland, young Eodur rises against his brother and father, forming a coalition of rebel clansmen in an attempt to deliver a powerful message: No stroke of sword, nor thrust of spear may break a man’s will to be free.
