The Black Phalanx African American Soldiers in the American Revolution

The Black Phalanx African American Soldiers in the American Revolution

ByJoseph T. Wilson

In United States History, The African American has played a vital role in securing our freedom. This book details the many roles and actions of brave Africans who fought for our nations freedoms and their freedom. First published in the late 1800's this book gives a first hand account of the war stories, efforts and valient service given to our nation by the African American soldiers. Our history, their history, is quickly being forgotten. This must not happen. African American history is American history and it should be remembered as one would remember the contributions to our founding fathers. They too, are our founding fathers, Crispus Attucks, for example, was the man who helped start the Revolutionary War because he was the man who rounded up people in Boston to stand up against the British. He and countless others should be given a heartful round of thanks for our freedom as with thousands of others who gave their lives for one thing: Freedom.
