The Name of the Game

The start of the City High series. We follow Marcus who happens to be a misfit at George Washington High who has feelings for Cassandra Cruz the most popular girl in school. After being rejected by her, he sits at the park and sets up his chess pieces that were passed down to him from generation to generation. While setting up, his grandfather appears and helps him understand life through the game of chess.
