This master's thesis fully describes the design, calibration, and functionality of a new instrumented spatial linkage (ISL) for use in a dynamic environment. The new ISL was used to measure snowboard boot rotations during snowboarding maneauvers on a snow slope. This ISL was calibrated both statically and dynamically to describe and reduce measurement error while subjected to an environment with random external accelerations.
