Relocation to Windermere

Struggling to survive on a low income, my family decided to sell our home and buy a run-down Guest House in the Lake District. Money was short and the work was hard, but doing up the house gave us skills we never knew we had. We enjoyed meeting people from all over the world and despite the ups and downs the great majority of guests made it rewarding, though at times Fawlty Towers didn't seem too ridiculous. We didn't make a fortune, but we really lived life to the full.
